ABOUT ME
Having studied both RHS & Permaculture methods, my work embraces a natural way of working, drawing on simple methods, enriching growth & encouraging biodiversity above & below the soil line.
My work varies hugely, from soft landscaping design & planting to regular garden maintenance. The past year has seen a surge in the demand for kitchen gardens where I have been lucky enough to design & build some edible gardens ranging from a couple of acres to just a few square metres.
FLORISTRY
After initially training as a florist I became concerned at the throw away nature of the industry and the environmental impact & resources involved in the professional flower growing industry. I wanted to create pieces that lasted more than just a couple of weeks and began to forage and grow as much of my own as I could.
Drawing on my experience as a gardener, I am inspired by the beautiful foliage, berries, trees & petals that surround us. My work gathers together all of these elements in their delicacy and beauty into dried form so that they can be enjoyed year after year.
